To enhance the customer experience within their existing location, Athol Savings Bank partnered with NES Group for an interior renovation. Transformed from the traditional branch style to a more modern banking environment, the redesigned floor plan utilizes a universal banker model allowing ASB’s employees to offer more personalized interactions.
In order to maximize efficiency and use of ample space, we evaluated the existing footprint and developed a layout to rework the customer journey. The scope of work consisted of a complete fit-up of ceilings, finishes, and upgrades to all building systems.
With an open concept, the 2,750 square foot branch has a spacious lobby with a waiting area, a coffee station, a tech center, a two-station teller pod, hotel offices, a conference room, a commercial lending office, a vault, and a drive-through. Our interior designers gave the branch a clean, contemporary feel through finishes that reflect ASB’s color palette alongside the elegant lighting fixtures. The stacked stone feature wall adds warmth and texture that ties perfectly with the upgraded furniture.
Using environmental graphics, our marketing team helped produce an engaging journey from beginning to end. Combining form and function – the custom-designed glass banding throughout provides an open feel and the right amount of privacy. In the conference room, a vibrant mural with their mission empowers their team on one side, and a collage on the other portrays how ASB embraces its long history of commitment to the town of Gardner. Known as ‘A Solutions Bank’, their core values are also displayed to remind customers they are there to provide solutions to help solve their problems and set them up for success.
