We’re proud to share our latest project with Brookline Bank: the transformation of a former Boston Market into a welcoming, full-service branch and their first location in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Located in a prime, high-visibility area, this new branch marks an exciting step for Brookline Bank as they expand into new markets. The Lawrence branch is designed to better serve existing customers in the region while offering local residents a fresh, convenient banking option.
Brookline Bank engaged NES Group to develop a design that would complement their brand. We worked closely with the bank stakeholders to incorporate aspects of previously designed branches into the Lawrence branch. Our Interior Design team specified materials with hues of grey and blue that highlight the brand palette and added warmth with the use of walnut wood accents. The teller area is welcoming and designed with walnut wood tones and luxurious quartz surfaces in a bold “Brookline Bank” blue. The slatted wood ceiling and wall feature draws you into the lobby space, which offers a coffee bar with comfortable seating.
This location also introduces a more modern layout for Brookline Bank. The open-concept floor plan includes a three-station teller pod—the bank’s first—reflecting a forward-thinking approach to customer service. The space also features private offices, a conference room, a comfortable waiting area, and a drive-thru for added convenience.
On the outside, the building strikes a balance between classic and contemporary. The exterior maintains a timeless look while incorporating updated finishes and the bank’s signature brand colors, achieving a transitional style that bridges tradition and innovation.
Our design team collaborated closely with the client throughout the process. From the door handles to the millwork details, every decision was thoughtfully considered—an effort that’s evident in the finished space.
